    Date: Thursday, September 26, 2024 Time:  6:30pm doors, 7pm stories. Location: Sugar Maple,  441 E Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207 Cost:  $15 at the door Advanced tickets sales are now closed. Tickets still available for purchase at the door. Ex Fabula StorySlams are live events where community members connect and share true, personal stories related to the night’s theme, told without props or notes. Come just to listen – or throw your name in the hat for a chance to share a true story related to the theme of Pets. At the end of the night, the audience votes by secret ballot to crown an Audience Favorite, who will be invited to share a story at ALL STARS in May. The audience can also be a part of the storytelling by submitting UltraShorts! These are "ultra-short" stories on the night's theme that will be read onstage by the emcee. Tickets may be available at the door if supplies last. Join us for Ex Fabula’s Birthday Bash to celebrate the last 15 years and support Ex Fabula’s ongoing work to build community and foster empathy! The Birthday Bash is a party and a fundraiser that will include:

    • Booths with interactive activities
    • A unique silent auction that highlights Ex Fabula's work and mission
    • And a dance party to end the night!
    Each ticket includes:
