Is it already Monday again? Beat the back-to-the-grind blues with a reminder that the Spectacular is now only 3 days away! And we’ve only featured 4 out of our 7 storytellers thus far, so let’s get back to business with #5 – Matthew Konkel! 

Matthew Konkel is a writer and teaching artist. His fiction and poetry have been published in The Newer York and Four and Twenty Poetry respectively. In June 2013 his play, Walk, Don’t Walk, was produced by Pink Banana Theater and featured in their annual one act festival, garnering excellent reviews. Matthew is also a producer, screenwriter and independent filmmaker. His latest film is a coming-of-age feature titled Neptune produced by Last House Productions and scheduled for release in spring, 2014. He currently resides in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward.
