Brrr! Hope you’re all staying warm! We also hope you have a happy Tuesday, and to help you do so, we’re giving you the skinny on our 2nd storyteller, Donte McFadden!
Donte McFadden is the Associate Director for the McNair Scholars Program at UW-Milwaukee Graduate School. The program assists first-generation college students from low-income and/or historically underrepresented populations in preparing for graduate school. He is a also a lecturer at UW-Milwaukee’s Department of Art and Design. He is a founding member of the Lyrical Sanctuary Open Mic Series, conceived by SCOPE in 1998 and launched at UW-Milwaukee in 2001. He is a Milwaukee Film Festival screening committee member and served as a volunteer for the 30 Americans Contemporary Art exhibit featured at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
