This community, like some others, has & continues to face discrimination due to what some deem unfortunate circumstances”. In spite of this, progress has and continues to be made. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is celebrating twenty-five years of working towards eliminating discrimination against individuals with disabilities.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ADA, Broadscope Disability Services and Ex Fabula have joined forces to present Easy Access: An ADA-themed StorySlam. On Monday July 27 join us at the Skylight Music Theatre for an evening of true personal, non-competitive storytelling from individuals who will explore and celebrate the impact and history of the ADA. This event features a fully accessible stage and ASL interpreters courtesy of CommunicationLink.

Doors open at 6 pm. for a social hour, where guests can enjoy a cash bar, light bites and receive a complimentary Storytelling Consultation from Ex Fabula. The StorySlam will kick off at 7 pm. Limited advanced purchase tickets ($5) can be purchased here.
